This morning some of our sisters helped the with their campus clean up along side with some other students and organization’s around campus. Great work ladies. 💜
- Let’s try our best to make sure we throw the trash away in the trash cans and dumpsters around campus so we can keep our campus here at Philander beautiful the way it should look. Thank you all for helping keep our campus clean

Our Program Coordinator : Gabrielle Batiste

She is a Dallas, Texas native. She is a junior on campus majoring in biology with a
minor in business entrepreneurship. After her matriculation here at Philander, she will go on to veterinary
school to become an exotic animal veterinarian with her own practice. On campus she is involved in
many activities. She is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Student Government
Association (SGA), she is a member of the McKinley Newton Honors Academy, Forward Focus Media,
the Program Coordinator for National Association of Colored Women's Club (NACWC), and serves as a
UNCF representative for Philander Smith College.

Alexia is from Chicago, Illinois. After Graduating in May she plans to work at DCFS and further her education receiving her MSW aswell as LCSW. With her credentials she aspires to start a nonprofit catering to children in a poverty stricken neighborhood to help them develop good coping skills and empower them to become self-sufficient.
