Big news from OHS Agriculture! Arkansas Forestry has officially confirmed and documented that our students have grown the first recorded albino tree in the state of Arkansas. This incredible tree was sprouted from an acorn by our very own students, making this discovery even more special.

Albino trees are extremely rare and occur due to a genetic abnormality that prevents them from producing chlorophyll, meaning they cannot survive on their own without support. We are proud of our students for being part of such a unique and remarkable moment in agricultural science.
