And in the UAMS Division of Institutional Advancement, our goal is to discover, cultivate and share these stories. In doing so, we build stronger relationships with constituents all across the state and increase support for UAMS’ efforts to
teach, heal and discover. There is phenomenal, lifesaving work taking place at all of our campuses across the state and in each of UAMS’ five colleges, graduate school and seven institutes. UAMS clinicians and faculty provide exceptional clinical care, unmatched health care education and innovative, groundbreaking research 365 days a year. Our team of more than 40 professionals supports fundraising efforts for all units of UAMS, including its colleges, institutes, centers of excellence, and departments. We actively seek to engage and involve friends in meaningful relationships with UAMS through the Chancellor’s Circle, the Society of the Double Helix, Dean's Societies and other special recognition events and projects throughout the year. Private gifts enable us to assist hardworking students in continuing their education, attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff, endow academic and medical programming and research, and take advantage of other important opportunities.
