We had a very good luncheon today!! Col. Roulev, Deputy Commander, attended along with a representative from the Mission Support Group and the MSG’s new Command Chief, CMSgt Pelican. Welcome back to the Rock, Chief!! Lots of good information was shared. Good food and good fellowship! Our next luncheon is Friday, July 17.

Then later today a couple of us attended the Change of Command of the 19th MDG/HCOS. Farewell and Godspeed to LtCol Maynard on her next adventure!!! We will miss you! Thank you for sharing your lunches and MDG information with our group!

The museum will be open from 10 to 5, with the unveiling ceremony taking place from 11:30 to 12:30. Come out and listen to our guest speaker and enjoy light refreshments.

Step back into history and experience a powerful tribute to the brave Americans who changed the course of World War II during a special D-Day anniversary event at the Jacksonville Museum of Military History this Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Organizers say the repatriated American flag has been carefully restored and will now be displayed as a symbol of sacrifice, courage, and freedom.

The D-Day exhibit will remain on display through July 30, 2026.

This is a meaningful opportunity for families, veterans, students, and history lovers across Arkansas to reflect on the sacrifices made on June 6, 1944.
