The evening was unforgettable. 🇺🇸

This night, Team Little Rock came together at the Jacksonville Community Center to induct our newest noncommissioned officers into the NCO corps. What a night! The 5/6 Organization is proud to have put on an event worthy of these Airmen and the responsibility they now carry.

Congratulations to every inductee. You've moved from following the standard to setting it, and we can't wait to see how you lead, develop those who follow, and uphold what keeps our Air Force ready to answer the call.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up, and support the evening, and to the families, mentors, and guests who celebrated with us. This one was all about you. 👏

📋 Thank you to everyone who came out to the 5/6 Records Review! ⭐

On Wednesday, 30 September, SSgts and TSgts filled the ballroom at The Walters Community Center (The Kenny) to sit down with Top 3 and walk through their records line by line. Together we checked for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, caught missing documents and outdated entries, and answered questions that could make all the difference when it counts.

The event was a huge success, and the impact goes beyond one morning. A strong record means you’re ready for promotion, ready for opportunity, and ready for the mission. We hope everyone walked away with the answers they needed and a record that’s truly mission-ready.

Congratulations to SSgt Payton A. Westbrook, 19th Communications Squadron, on being named NCO of the Month! 🎖️

As Vulnerability Management NCOIC, SSgt Westbrook put his newly earned B.S. in Information Technology Management to work, leading 8 Airmen to eliminate 34.9K cybersecurity vulnerabilities. His team protected $63M in NIPR/SIPR networks, propelling the wing to AMC’s #1 ranking. He also revitalized the unit’s fitness program, leading 14 targeted training sessions for 93 Airmen and achieving a flawless 100% assessment pass rate, strengthening the unit’s deployment readiness.

Beyond the network, he stepped up as Booster Club president and forged community partnerships to execute 7 Arkansas Travelers volunteer events. He led 25 Airmen through 125 volunteer hours, raising $3.8K and eliminating holiday party admission costs for 19 CS.

Congratulations to TSgt Jamal S. Mahamed, 19th Maintenance Squadron, on being named NCO of the Month! 🎖️

As NCOIC of Nondestructive Inspection, TSgt Mahamed led 21 Airmen through 476 maintenance actions, catching 42 defects and helping the wing beat its mission-capable rate goal by 1.9% enabling 6 Air Tasking Orders. He also managed $180K in tooling across 24 fly-away requests supporting 4 additional flights, and helped move 96,000 lbs of disaster relief and counter-narcotics cargo for SOUTHCOM.

Beyond the flightline, he earned 9 cybersecurity credentials, partnered with the M&FRC to train nearly 500 warfighters on supervisory skills using AI-driven tools, and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance.

Outstanding leadership, on and off duty. Well deserved, TSgt Mahamed! 🇺🇸
