North Strand Youth continues the kickoff to a new semester with some team building, at Breakout Myrtle Beach Escape Room. The group was split into two teams. The winning team received an extra scoop of icecream at Melt. We had so much fun this evening and are looking forward to an exciting year for the youth group.

North Strand Youth kicked things off this evening with a fun filled night.
-Pizza and cupcakes
-Hangout time
-A unique game where you put a stocking over your head and attempt to blow out candles. This definitely caused some laughs
-Noodle war; who can knock off their opponents cup from their noodle
-Pie throwing; Which really ended up more like pie smashing
-A surprise silly string war
-Karaoke

Tonight was tons of fun, with lots of laughter, and a few messes. But definitely the perfect way to kick off the season.

Next Sunday, join us for even more fun and fellowship. See you there!

Our North Strand Strand Youth room is getting a face lift ! New tables, new stools, and I spy a popcorn machine !?
Come join us THIS SUNDAY for youth kickoff at North Strand Community Church.
Sunday 5-7pm- Games- Pizza- Popcorn- Music- Fellowship- Friends
All 6-12th grade students are welcome to come hang out.

Thank you to a few of our current youth who came to hang out last night and help with the renovations.

A prayer for our students on their first day back to school today;

Heavenly Father,

As our students head back to school today, we pray that You would go before them. Give them confidence when they feel nervous, strength when things are difficult, and wisdom in every decision they make.

Help them to be a light to the people around them. To show kindness, stand up for what is right, and remember that they are never alone because You are always with them.

Protect them, guide them, and remind them that their identity and worth come from You.

We pray for an amazing school year filled with growth, new friendships, and opportunities to see You working in their lives.

In Jesus’ name, amen. ❤️

Congratulations to one of our very own youth, Felipe Morales, who took the next step in his faith yesterday evening and chose to be baptized. Then, assisted others with their baptism. It was a privilege and an honor to celebrate this moment with you.

Rising 6-12th grade students, we want to invite you out to 10th Avenue N, NMB tomorrow for beach baptism. You do not have to be currently attending North Strand Youth to attend. All are welcome, including friends and family. This is a great opportunity to connect with others and celebrate with those who are choosing to be baptized in the ocean. Come hang out with us! We will have a few beach themed games offered after the baptisms.

Youth will be out at the beach from 5pm-7pm to ensure easier parking.
