Well, the hotdog eating contest was a HUGE success ! I’m excited to announce, that this fundraiser raised enough money to send TWO MORE YOUTH TO CAMP!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out this evening, either to compete, to set up, to cook, to clean up, or to support. Everyone made today happen and we are blessed for such a supportive community.

Congratulations to Robbie, who won our 1st place trophy, eating a total of 15 hotdogs !!

Join us tomorrow during second service for Senior Sunday, as we recognize our graduating Seniors of North Strand Youth. We are very proud of each one of them and hope you can come out to support.

We will also have a box provided to drop a card in for each graduate if you’d like to share some words of encouragement and congratulations.

Sign up for our hot dog eating contest May 17th, 5-7pm.
This event was specifically requested by our youth group to raise money for FUGE camp.
It cost $400 plus travel and food expenses to attend FUGE camp per student and adult.

Not only did they request this contest, but they also want to raise the stakes; Youth V.S Adults.

Here's how the contest will work:
This is NOT a speed contest but based on quantity.
You will receive credit when the hot dog and bun have been fully consumed.
You will have from 5:30pm-6:30pm for this challenge.

Rules:
-You may NOT soak the hotdog in water! EW !!
- You CAN separate the hot dog from the bun BUT we will deduct if only the hot dog or the bun was consumed.
- You must be a regular attendee of North Strand Youth to participate.
- Adults, you must know a youth or regularly attend NSCC to participate.

Guests will be able to vote for who they think will consume the most hotdogs.

Prizes Awarded:
-Youth to consume the most Hot Dogs
-Adult to consume the most Hot Dogs
-Overall winner
-Group who received the most in votes (Adults vs Youth)
