…Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

…Maybe it was a teacher, a parent, a mentor, a pastor, or just a friend who helped you become the person you were meant to be. There is also someone else who has greatly impacted your life. You do not know his name, but he gave his life so that you could be free. Simply being born an American means that I possess a freedom that has been purchased for me by the blood and the lives of patriots. Those who gave their all must never be forgotten. That is what Memorial Day is all about. We remember those whose names we may not know, but they gave their lives for the freedom we are privileged to enjoy. They deserve our honor, our respect, and our deepest appreciation. Freedom is purchased and preserved by sacrifice…the greater the sacrifice… the greater the freedom. There is Another who gave His all for you. Choosing to follow Jesus means that I possess an eternal freedom that has been purchased for me by the greatest sacrifice of all, the blood of God’s Son. That is not only worth remembering, but it is worth your life… So Go Celebrate and LIVE FREE!!
