Last Thursday, HomePlace Church had the honor to serve the Chapin American Legion Post 193 for their annual officer installment meeting. 🇺🇸

We love the opportunity to connect with veterans and our community and being able to share the love of Jesus with them. 🙏🏻

…Who has had the greatest impact on your life?
…”Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
…Maybe it was a teacher, a parent, a mentor, a pastor, or just a friend who helped you become the person you were meant to be. There is also someone else who has greatly impacted your life. You do not know his name, but he gave his life so that you could be free. Simply being born an American means that I possess a freedom that has been purchased for me by the blood and the lives of patriots. Those who gave their all must never be forgotten. That is what Memorial Day is all about. We remember those whose names we may not know, but they gave their lives for the freedom we are privileged to enjoy. They deserve our honor, our respect, and our deepest appreciation. Freedom is purchased and preserved by sacrifice…the greater the sacrifice… the greater the freedom. There is Another who gave His all for you. Choosing to follow Jesus means that I possess an eternal freedom that has been purchased for me by the greatest sacrifice of all, the blood of God’s Son. That is not only worth remembering, but it is worth your life… So Go Celebrate and LIVE FREE!!

Being the hands and feet of Jesus couldn't get any better than this!!! This group of young people left work and school on Wednesday and finished up their day helping one of our church members plant his garden. Many hands make light of heavy work! We enjoyed pizza, Bible study, and a little manual labor. They even drank straight from a water hose 🤣😂

We can't wait to go back in approximately 78 days to see and pick the many rows of Lima beans, corn, and green beans that were planted. Thank you Mr. Dale Stott for letting us spend the evening with you!

It has been an amazing couple of weeks at HomePlace! We had our first outdoor Easter service at the Farm and it was memorable to say the least. We love that we are blessed with the opportunity to praise the Lord while in His creation! ☀️

Following Easter, our youth hosted a special Spring Break youth camp. This included fishing, arrowhead searching, outdoor movies, grilling, lots of games, and wonderful time in God’s Word. Then, youth camp wrapped up with a trip to Carowinds! 🎢

We are so blessed with our wonderful HomePlace Family! If you would like to be apart of what God is doing at HomePlace, join us tomorrow for service! 🙌🏻

A beautiful Sunday morning with our church family! ✝️

We are coming off of a great Easter we can’t wait to share more details about this week. 🙌🏻

Today we began a new series on The Lord’s Prayer and wow was the Holy Spirit evident! We had the opportunity to pray together throughout service, heard a powerful message, and then celebrated at the end with a new church member joining our family! Help us welcome Carol to HomePlace Church!! 🥳

Join us next week as we continue our study on The Lord’s Prayer and how the Lord teaches us through it how to pray. 🙏🏻
