A fresh haircut. A warm, home-cooked meal. A birthday treat that says someone remembered you.

These small acts carry enormous weight for the women and children in our residential program, and none of it happens without community partners who show up, again and again. Behind every one of these moments is our dedicated residential team, turning community generosity into real, lasting impact for every resident.

Tonight is the night.

Years ago, David and Beverly Engle believed that survivors deserved more. That children deserved safety. That families deserved a chance to heal. What began as a humble dream is now a community of hundreds, showing up year after year to say: we are not going anywhere.

Tonight at the Restoring Lives Gala, we carry that legacy into the room with us. Hosted by Ashlyn Brothers, we will hear guest speaker Nuvia Morton share her story with courage and grace. We will hear from the sponsors and supporters who have chosen to stand with us. And we will pause to remember where we started and how far we have come.

To our presenting sponsors, Circana and Mars, Incorporated, and to every single person who poured their time, heart, and resources into making tonight possible: thank you. Your belief in this mission changes lives.

Heroncrest. 6:00 PM. We will see you there.

The greatest online risk today is not always a stranger. Sometimes it is the quiet, daily damage of a world that tells a child their worth is measured in likes and follows.

Cyberbullying, comparison culture, and the pressure to perform online are taking a real toll and most children are carrying it alone. Internet safety means staying engaged with how the digital world is making them feel, not just what they are doing in it.

Start the conversation with this Social Media Safety resource sheet for teens from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Healing takes more than one night. But a night like the Restoring Lives Gala, presented by Circana and Mars, can set it in motion.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward the work that matters most, including the free mental health sessions we provide to children and families seen at our center. Last year alone, the CFAC delivered 1,427 individual and group counseling sessions — free, accessible, and life-changing for every family we serve.

None of this happens without people who show up. Thank you to our in-kind sponsors: Gallo, Amp, Sunshine Bouquet, and Matkins Flowers & Greenhouse for helping us create an evening worthy of the mission we carry together.

Congratulations to this month's NWA Emerging Leaders Board Service Certification graduates!

The CFAC's mission has always been rooted in community, and that extends to how we show up for one another as leaders. Our Executive Director, Natalie Tibbs, joined this month's program as a featured speaker, sharing her leadership experience with emerging leaders preparing to serve our community. When our leaders grow, our community grows with them. Thankful to NWA Emerging Leaders and the Rogers Lowell Chamber for bringing us together for this.

When Happy Egg chose the CFAC as the nonprofit behind their golf tournament at Bella Vista Country Club, they gave us something extraordinary: not just a gift, but a statement of belief in the work we do every day for the children and families of Benton County.

Nearly 100 golfers showed up. $61,505.64 was raised. And just like that, history was made — the largest third-party fundraiser our organization has ever received.

Thank you, Happy Egg. Your generosity is felt far beyond the fairway.

On Founder's Day, we took our mission beyond our walls and into the heart of our community.

From our staff to sub-committee members and board members all volunteered at EverHope and Saving Grace NWA, and what we found there reminded us of something important. We are not in this alone. We got to witness incredible work, hear powerful stories, and learn about causes that deserve our awareness, our support, and our voices.

That is what our founders always understood. Legacy is not built inside a single organization. It is built when a community of people commits to showing up, learning, and never stopping. Together.

One Team. One Mission. One Voice.

Through the CFAC's residential housing program, families who once had nowhere to turn are finding stability, dignity, and hope for the road ahead. A home is more than four walls. It is the foundation on which a new chapter begins.

Because of our supporters, women and children in crisis have a safe place to land. We are honored to recognize the Guardian Sponsors of the Restoring Lives Gala, presented by Circana & Mars, Incorporated, whose generosity makes restoration possible: Kimberly-Clark, Post Consumer Brands, Reynolds Brands, Grand Savings Bank, Molson Coors, Henkel, Unlocking Human Potential, and Lost Bridge Community Church.

We invite you to be in the room where restoration happens:

Internet safety is one of the most important conversations a caregiver can have and one of the most overlooked. The greatest online risks rarely look like danger. They look like friendship.

Online predators do not announce themselves. They build trust slowly through compliments, shared secrets, and gifts. They look for children who feel misunderstood, lonely, or eager for attention. And they work hard to stay hidden.

Know the warning signs:
• A child becomes secretive about their device or online activity
• Spends more time online than usual
• Unexplained gifts, money, or messages
• Is asked to meet up with someone they've met only online
• Shows sexual knowledge that is inappropriate for their age

Knowing what to look for is the first step in keeping children safe. If something feels off, trust that feeling. You do not need proof to start a conversation.

Behind every swing, every serve, and every set at the Pinnacle & Shadow Valley Tennis Tournament was a family in Benton County who needed someone in their corner. Thanks to the generosity of players and supporters and the sponsorship of Coldwell Banker Harris McHaney & Faucette - $6,300 is headed straight toward healing.

Thank you for playing for something bigger than the game.
