is a 501(c)(3) organization formed on May 2012 with the purpose of providing educational needs to students in the Philippines. While public schools are ultimately supported by the Philippine government, many schools in the country struggle due to lack of funding, and consequently, families suffer as they cannot afford basic school supplies due to extreme poverty. As a result, these families are re
luctant to have their children pursue education as food becomes their main priority, which is a necessity to survive in today’s economic status. We believe that education can help change one’s social circumstances and provide access to a brighter future. With that, KLARK Foundation, Inc., was formulated with the idea to help alleviate some of the burden that the poverty-stricken families face on a daily basis, empower the students to keep learning, persevere, and pursue their dreams, and motivate our teachers to continue their passion as selfless educators through the simple act of providing school supplies to the children in the local districts of the Philippines. In addition, we give back to the communities through feeding programs and distributing in-kind donations we receive annually. We cannot change the world overnight, but we can help break the cycle of poverty and make a difference in today's tough environment, through collaborative self-fulfilling work.
