But the smiles and laughs says it was a great 3 days. Thank you to all our Volunteers and Partners that take the time to make this possible.

Our Veterans with Disabilities Deer hunt is coming up October 6-8 2026 at Camp Ripley. Applications must be submitted prior to 23 August 2026. The selection process will take place the following week.

With the new MnDNR Regulations that have come out for this year, we want to point out that nothing has changed with our program. It is still a Sh***un, Muzzleloader, or Archery hunt.
Many of you are wondering why ri**es are not included. Due to Military and Law Enforcement training taking place, and the closer proximity of our sites as we host 50 hunters in the field, it is for safety sake that we do not.
The active R***e Ranges are closed off by several thousand yards for safety. If we did that for each of our hunting sites, we would only be able to host a few hunting experiences, and you can almost imagine the nightmare in planning that!

Thank you for asking about it and sharing your opinions on this matter.

Again. August 23rd is the deadline, so visit https://www.mnvetsoutdoors.org/veteran-with-disabilities-deer-hunt.html and get your application in for the 06-08 October Veterans with Disabilities Deer hunt at Camp Ripley.

This event is open to all Veterans with disabilities residing in the state of Minnesota. The Deer Hunt takes place annually in October. Hunters are partnered with a volunteer, placed in mobile...
