Minnesota Veterans Outdoor Programs We recognize that all Veterans and Soldiers who have served our country through the years deserve a day on the lake or in the woods.

Here is your opportunity to get a chance to fish or hunt with some of the best anglers and hunters in the Midwest! Well known professional fishermen, and hunters and others will guide a Veteran and a Soldier or Airmen for a day on Mille Lacs Lake, the Mississippi River or in the woods! This will be a fun, exciting, day of fishing or hunting

Our Veterans with Disabilities Deer hunt is coming up October 6-8 2026 at Camp Ripley. Applications must be submitted prior to 23 August 2026. The selection process will take place the following week.

With the new MnDNR Regulations that have come out for this year, we want to point out that nothing has changed with our program. It is still a Shotgun, Muzzleloader, or Archery hunt.
Many of you are wondering why rifles are not included. Due to Military and Law Enforcement training taking place, and the closer proximity of our sites as we host 50 hunters in the field, it is for safety sake that we do not.
The active Rifle Ranges are closed off by several thousand yards for safety. If we did that for each of our hunting sites, we would only be able to host a few hunting experiences, and you can almost imagine the nightmare in planning that!
