Minnesota Veterans Outdoor Programs We recognize that all Veterans and Soldiers who have served our country through the years deserve a day on the lake or in the woods.

Here is your opportunity to get a chance to fish or hunt with some of the best anglers and hunters in the Midwest! Well known professional fishermen, and hunters and others will guide a Veteran and a Soldier or Airmen for a day on Mille Lacs Lake, the Mississippi River or in the woods! This will be a fun, exciting, day of fishing or hunting

There are only 4 days left to sign up for the Camp Ripley Veterans with Disabilities Turkey Hunt. Applications close March 1st, with 55 days until the April 21-23 event takes place.

When: April 21-23, 2026

Where: Camp Ripley
Little Falls, MN

Details:
*Meals and lodging are provided free of charge to the hunters.
* You must provide your own transportation.
*If selected, you MUST purchase a valid Minnesota DNR Turkey Hunting License for this event.
*You MUST be a resident of Minnesota or a member of a Minnesota Veterans Services Organization.
*You MUST be a Veteran of the United States Armed Services.

All applications MUST be received before MARCH 01, 2026
Our screening committee will review all applications.
DISADVANTAGED VETERANS HAVE PRIORITY, OTHER APPLICANTS WILL BE PLACED IN THE GENERAL LOTTERY.
All applicants will be notified by email after MARCH 01, 2026 as to their selection status.
**This is a TUESDAY- THURSDAY event.
