Today concluded our 2025/2026 Season. We’d like to give a huge thanks to so many people who help continue to grow our league.

To all the coaches, parents, volunteers, referees, our league wouldn’t be possible without you!
Thanks for every kid who chose to give the game of basketball a go this year. Hope to see you back next year.

Thanks to all the school employees for the time and effort they put in this season. They were pleasure to work with this season.

Special thanks to our great school district who allows us to use their facilities and resources to give the kids of the community a safe, positive environment to play.

This season we were able to purchase all 300+ kids in the league a new basketball. Hopefully, they get some good use this offseason. This was made possible with help from our League Sponsor Camden Cooper-Farmers Insurance.

We look forward to continuing to grow and improve the league for our 2026/2027 season.

It’s Little Dribblers night at LCJH!

Any LCM Little Dribblers who are present for the 8th grade A game, will be invited to come out on the floor to warm up with the team. They must have on their jersey to participate! Go Cubs! the standard 🐻💚💛

Friday Night come out and support our Boys Varsity team! Game starts about 7pm

Friday night is Teacher Appreciation Night and its also Youth Basketball Night! LCM Youth basketball players wear your jersey to the game and get in free! See you there! Teachers will be honored between the Freshman and JV games at approximately 5:30-5:45 pm.

Boys and Girls are invited to come out and support one of our Junior High Programs.

Free Entry for anyone wearing their jersey.
They play four games on Thursday night, start at 4:30pm, finish up about 8pm.

We had a great Opening Day of Basketball today.
8 hours, 18 games across 3 separate gyms.
The highlight of my day was the Rookies age group. They are so fun to watch
Thanks for everything our parents and volunteers do to help give the kids of our community a safe, fun and educational place to play basketball.

‼️It is finally game time‼️
With our first games approaching this Saturday, we wanted to send a few tips and reminders to all of our coaches and families…

1. Please refer to the game schedules to see if you are the AWAY or HOME team.

AWAY - will wear GREEN jerseys
HOME - will wear WHITE jerseys

2. Each game will need a volunteer to manage each the book and scoreboard. It does not matter which team they volunteer from, as long as we have two. Coaches, please make sure your teams are aware and note the games will not start until two volunteers are identified. It is important that the FINAL SCORE of each game is written down in the scorebook.

3. League rules can be found here https://www.lcmybb.org/downloads and a printed copy will be available at the games on the scorer’s table

4. We will not have concessions at any gyms this year. All organizations we reached out to run it, declined.

5. Please remember we are guests in these gyms, professional conduct is expected at all times and common courtesy with trash pickup prior to leaving the gym

6. Gyms will be open Saturday morning 30 minutes before the first game starts.

7. Reminder, our current board will be stepping away after this season. Our kids will be starting school basketball next season and we are ready to pass it along to the next generation of parents to keep the league thriving and growing as it has the past 10 years. If you are interested in helping run the league next year in some capacity, please reach out to us.
