The 2026 Hmong International Freedom Festival, held on June 27–28, welcomed 28,791 attendees and featured 131 teams competing in:

-18U Volleyball
-Men's Volleyball
-Men and Women's Flag Football
-Men's Soccer
-40+ and 50+ Soccer

We were also proud to host 131 vendors, including:

-Food vendors
-Merchandise vendors
-Beverage vendors
-Food trucks
-Display vendors

A special thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and our city partners for their continued support in helping us host this event year after year rain or shine.

To Our Hmong Volleyball Community,

We want to sincerely apologize to all of our HVB 18U athletes, families, coaches, and supporters.
Due to an ordering mistake on our part as the tournament host and host team, we did not have enough medals available to recognize all of our 18U medal winners. This was our responsibility, and we take full ownership of it.

We know that every medal represents the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices made by athletes throughout the year. While a medal is a small item, the moment of being recognized with your teammates is something you can't recreate. We're truly sorry that we took that moment away from some of our athletes.

We also want to make it clear that this was not a UHF issue. UHF, its leadership, staff, and volunteers have been incredible partners in supporting the growth of 18U volleyball and this tournament. This mistake was ours alone, and we don't want it to reflect on the commitment they have shown to this community and this sport.

Replacement medals have already been ordered and are expected to arrive within 2 weeks. As soon as they do, we will contact each affected team directly to make sure every athlete receives the medal they earned. We understand receiving them after the tournament isn't the same, but we're committed to making this right.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued support of our tournament. We appreciate the trust you place in us, and we'll use this experience to ensure we do better moving forward.
