Aevidum’s goal is to create cultures of “I’ve got your back” in schools and communities across the nation by forming Aevidum organizations. "I'm fine" isn't always the end of the conversation.

Sometimes it's an invitation to ask one more question.

Check in. Stay curious. Let people know they don't have to carry everything alone.

We had the best day with these awesome Aevidum students at Lebanon School District, Lebanon PA last week!!

We’re collaborating with Prevent Su***de PA to gather student voice and perspective for some new content for their Online Learning Center.

These brave student leaders shared openly about the views and experiences related to mental health. This content will be used to help educators meet the requirements of Act 71 which requires educators to have 4 hours of su***de prevention education every 5 years. We appreciate the students, advisors, and administrators of Lebanon School District for welcoming us into their school so openly and participating in the project so fully. We especially appreciate Ms. Zentner for coordinating our visit!

We’re still looking for one more school and/or group of students to interview in June. If you or your school are interested, please send us a message for email [email protected]. Stipends are available to support time and travel.

Tomorrow the calendar will change. But people will still be struggling. People will still be healing. People will still need connection, kindness, support, and hope.

Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but caring for people can’t be seasonal.

So keep checking in. Keep inviting people in. Keep talking openly. Keep showing up. Keep looking closer.

Because the conversations we continue after May are often the ones that matter most.

Sometimes the smallest moments can completely change the direction of someone’s day, or even their life.

Never underestimate the impact of kindness, connection, and showing up for others.

The little things are rarely little. 💛

A smile.
An invitation to sit together.
A text to check in.
A compliment.
A simple “How are you really doing?”

We are all just one kind interaction away from a better day. 💛

Never underestimate the impact you can have on someone simply by showing up with kindness.

Check out these photos from the Aevidum Club at Daniel Boone Area High School 's spring field trip to Refreshing Mountain Retreat & Adventure Center !

The students who attended bonded through the activities and experience together. It was a positive opportunity for relationship building, confidence growth, trust, teamwork, laughter, and connection, which are all protective factors for positive mental health 💛

For the days that feel heavy.
For the moments you feel overwhelmed.
For the part of you that wonders if anyone would notice.

Stay.

Because your story is not over.
Because people care more than you realize.
Because the world is better with you in it. 💛

We were thrilled to get to spend last Friday at with the Schuylkill County Aevidum Clubs!

Thanks to the generosity of Schuylkill County Mental Health/Developmental Services, student leaders from across the county got to celebrate their dedication to raising mental health awareness in their communities this year with a fun day at the amusement park.

Our Director of Outreach, Mary, addressed students during lunch. Each student received three positivity cards. They were challenged to write a message of hope or encouragement on the back of their cards and then give them out during their time in the park. We hope this created a ripple of kindness that continues beyond Friday's event!

Thanks to ALL our awesome student leaders and advisors who help spread the "I've got your back" message! 💛
