It's hard to believe it's almost September! The Scouting for Food Commitment form closes next week, on Monday, August 31. Last year, our Council collected 169,000 pounds of food and other donations for their local food banks. Let's keep the momentum going in 2026! Sign your unit up today!

With school starting back up soon, we wanted to highlight road safety this month. Road safety is an important concept not just for Scouts, but for adults as well! Some tips include:

🚗
- Looking both ways
- Using crosswalks
- Face oncoming cars if a sidewalk isn't available
- Make sure drivers see you before crossing, never assume they'll stop
- Stay alert - avoid looking at screens or using headphones that dull your perception

Remember, walk smart, stay safe!
