Stonecrest Business Alliance

Stonecrest Business Alliance Formed in 2011, the Stonecrest Business Alliance is an organization comprised of the business and land owners of the Stonecrest and surrounding communities.

The Stonecrest Business Alliance is leading the way to business, neighborhood, family, and visitor growth and prosperity for all participants in the Stonecrest Dekalb County overlay district. The Stonecrest area is located east of Atlanta on Interstate 20 at the edge of the DeKalb-Rockdale County line. The focal point of the Stonecrest Area is the Mall at Stonecrest located off I-20 at Turner Hill

Rd. Surrounding the Mall are numerous restaurants, office complexes, hotels, major retail stores and tourist attractions making this area an ideal destination to live, work and play. The Stonecrest Business Alliance is headed by a Board of Directors, comprised of several prominent business/land owners and professionals from within the community. Van K. Jakes, former professional football player and owner of several McDonald’s franchises, including one at Stonecrest is the current President of the Board.

The Stonecrest Area has been awarded a $100,000 Livable Center Initiative (LCI) study award. The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) said a Stonecrest activity center will help improve the economic vitality of not only Stonecrest, but DeKalb County and the surrounding area.
