Exactly. I've been giving back and helping others since I was a child. My mother can vouch for that . Then I decided to start my non profit when I was old enough to do so. I hate to see on social media someone post giving a homeless person some money . Or giving them a piece of chicken. Or oh you decided to give them a Tshirt. For years I contiplated recording and taking pictures at my events I have for the homeless. Because I don't want them to feel uncomfortable. And because I do it from the heart and not to get likes or shares or attention. People that really know me . Will tell you . I hate pictures when I'm giving back . When I'm helping someone else. Because I wouldn't want someone in my face with a camera . Because I have a foundation and when people donated. I did want people to see where their money was going. To recieve grants. I wanted the world to see what The Thomas Earl Robinson Foundation does. Who we are. But, my name speaks for it self. The work we put in speaks for it's self. I honestly stopped even asking for donations for this reason and several others. But, this being one of them. So, because I fund my own organization. No, one can tell me how to run it and I don't have to take any pictures to prove anything to anyone. What you see on social media isn't even the half . I'm behind the scenes helping families in need , homeless families , anyone who needs a helping hand every single day of my life. And I don't post it. Because it's no one's business . Everything isn't for social media. And because it's nothing to tell it's between God, me and that person. I just want to help. I just want to see the smile on someone else. It warms my heart what I do. I literally cry when I'm trying to figure out how to make the world a better place and how to end homelessness and poverty. I wear it on my back the weight of the world and wishing I could do more. But, back to the meme . If you are going to do something just do it . You don't need a audience it's disrespectful to have a camera all in someone's face. At events where there is being recordings or camera footage. I always ask . I also let them know . You can say no and you will still recieve help.
