The year 2020 is one that we will not soon forget and will certainly be a year for the history books compliments of a new novel disease, dare I say it, Covid-19! Covid-19 not only took this country, but the entire world by storm and very quickly became a Global Pandemic! No one could have ever imagined the tremendous amount of loss, pain, death, and destruction that would lie in its wake, not to mention what was to come.
Almost a year in and the world remains in the unrelenting, ever tightening grip of Covid-19. Every living thing has been impacted one form or another some more than others. To see families torn apart in the blink of an eye, patients suffering and/or dying alone, families devasted because they cannot comfort loved ones is heartbreaking.
Having tested positive twice, I understand firsthand the depths of this horrid infection, the thing is this disease and its lasting effects. Thank God, I did not have to be hospitalized, my career remained intact, I still have my home and vehicle, but so many have not been as fortunate, which means that I have a responsibility to do something! My sister and I created “COVID WON’T STOP CHRISTMAS to help as many families as possible, by providing them with grocery for Christmas dinner, toys for the children, and little something for the parents from the kids. We will also be giving away a brand-new laptop to a child.
To accomplish this, we will be using our own funds, in addition, my sister and I are both consultants for Touchstone Crystals by Swarovski and will be hosting Virtual Jewelry Parties with all funds from all orders going to the families.
