10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION – GEORGIANS FOR THE ARTS™

Celebrating the Tenth Anniversary of ArtsGeorgia’s launch of our GEORGIANS FOR THE ARTS™ Initiative. ArtsGeorgia believes public awareness of the arts is essential to securing ongoing support and funding from the public and private sectors. Arts awareness makes us Stronger Together! Public awareness campaigns are a key to success.

Our Georgians for the Arts™ Initiative was conceived as an opportunity to increase awareness of Georgia’s rich cultural legacy, to unite members of the Georgia arts community from urban and rural communities to have a louder voice advocating for the arts, culture, arts education, and to demand increases in arts funding so Georgia would no longer be ranked in last place in the United States for per capita state arts support. Our local communities and citizens are doing their part, it’s time for the Governor and General Assembly to step up and increase state arts funding.

Public Awareness Campaign ArtsGeorgia believes public awareness of the arts is essential to securing ongoing support and funding from the public and private sectors.
