Across Georgia, more than 1.2 million people live without health insurance. For them, getting sick can mean choosing between care and groceries—or going without care entirely.
The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, part of the Georgia Charitable Care Network, provides healthcare with compassion, dignity, and impact. Our clinic provides care for uninsured patients at an average cost of less than $10 per patient encounter, just 8% of the cost of an average Medicaid visit.

This Emory Winship program is made possible through the generous support of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and in collaboration with Mount Sinai Health System.
