“Prostate cancer is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer deaths among men in the state of Georgia,” said Dr. Martin Sanda, the Louis McDonald Orr Distinguished Professor of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine and director of the Prostate Cancer Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
This Emory Winship program is made possible through the generous support of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and in collaboration with Mount Sinai Health System. The first mobile clinic of its kind in the United States, The Mount Sinai Robert F. Smith Mobile Prostate Cancer Screening Unit, launched April 2022 in New York City.
