The Litchfield Rescue Squad would like to thank the Litchfield Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, Meeker County Sheriff's Department, and Litchfield Police Department for helping us pay tribute and remember those who lost their lives in the tragic events of 9/11.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Fieldgate Cheese and First District for the meat and cheese platter, Simply Good for the coffee and sweets and last but not least...to the members of our community who brought us treats, waved, smiled, came and talked to us and honked as they drove by. We appreciate each and every one of you! Community Strong!

A great effort from everyone and amazing teamwork from all of those involved. What could have been a devastating event, turned out in almost the best way possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deputy while he recovers. Great job.

Our weather spotters were called out last night for the 2 separate storm cells that came through. Our thoughts are with those who sustained damage. While we were spotting and helping to clear debris from the road, we took a few seconds to reflect on the beauty that can accompany storms. These are just a couple unedited photos from last night. Drop your photos in the comments along with where you took them.

Stay sky aware for more potential storms later today!
