The Estrella Rotary Club of Goodyear brings together community members, business leaders, and volunteers to create lasting change locally and globally.

Through service projects, fellowship, and leadership, we work together to make a difference. We meet every Tuesday in person at La Bona Pasta at 12:15 PM, in the back meeting room.

Today was a great reminder of what Rotary is all about 💙

The Estrella Rotary Club had the opportunity to visit Mercy House, one of the incredible organizations we’re proud to support right here in our community. Seeing firsthand the impact they’re making was truly inspiring.

Mercy House is doing powerful work—helping individuals and families facing homelessness and hardship by providing meals, job training, life skills, and pathways to stable housing. Their focus isn’t just short-term help… it’s real, lasting change.

A huge thank you to Mike Rudolfo for providing a wonderful lunch—it made the visit even more special and gave us all time to connect, reflect, and appreciate the work being done.

Grateful to be part of a group that shows up, gives back, and supports organizations making a real difference.

The Estrella Rotary Club is proud to support meaningful opportunities right here in our local community.🌟

Through our efforts, we’re helping provide scholarships for students at Estrella Mountain Community College, investing in the future of local students and helping them pursue their educational goals.🏫(Pictured with Jonathan Robles of EMCC)

We’re also honored to sponsor the annual golf tournament hosted by our friends at PebbleCreek Rotary Club—an event that brings the community together while raising funds for important causes.⛳️(Pictured with club President, Jim Frey)

At yesterday’s meeting of the Estrella Rotary Club, we had the privilege of hearing from Veronica Branscomb about a project she began in honor of Zariah.

Veronica had been advocating for a pregnant foster teen who tragically lost her life last summer. Wanting to honor Zariah’s memory in a meaningful way, she began creating food bags for families experiencing food insecurity. Knowing that Zariah and her brother had faced food insecurity at times, Veronica felt this was a way to give back and help others in similar situations.

Since October, with the help of many generous community members, she has been assembling weekend meal bags for elementary school students who may need extra food support. Her hope is to continue the program through the end of the school year and eventually establish a nonprofit called Charles Angels.

It was a powerful reminder of how one person’s compassion can make a difference in the lives of so many.

💙 Proud Moment
The Estrella Rotary Club was honored to come together this week in support of Mercy House, donating $10,000 toward their thoughtful, life-changing programs serving local families and children.
Mercy House empowers families, strengthens community, and helps create pathways for long-term stability. We hope this contribution supports their mission and helps their work continue to thrive.

🌕🔥 Full Moon, Big Laughs, and Desert Boondocker Vibes 🔥🌕

Last night’s Estrella Rotary Boondocker party was everything we love about desert nights — a bright full moon lighting up the sky, huge bonfires, incredible BBQ, and nonstop laughter with the best neighbors around.

There’s just something about gathering in the desert that makes the night feel a little bigger, a little brighter, and a whole lot more fun. 🌵✨

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a night to remeber!
