Lisle Community Band The Lisle Community Band provides quality musical performances for the Village of Lisle. The members

The Lisle Community Band was formed in 1987 and is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our purpose is to provide high quality musical performances for the residents and guests of the Village of Lisle, while reaffirming the community band’s heritage in American music. The membership of the band includes musicians from high school age to retired adults. The Lisle Community Band is a member of the Association of Concert Bands and is in compliance with ASCAP and BMI standards.

What an incredible way to close our summer concert season!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for tonight’s concert and helped make the evening so special. Your support, applause, and love of live music mean so much to every member of the Lisle Community Band.

We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors and community partners. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue presenting free concerts and sharing music with the Lisle community.

This photo of Steve Green conducting the Lisle Community Band in 1988 takes us back to the early years of a tradition that has brought music, friendship, and community together for four decades.

Tonight, we gather for the final concert of our 2026 season and Steve’s final performance as director after 40 remarkable years leading the Lisle Community Band.

The evening will feature circus marches, jazz, folk music, selections by John Williams, and special guest vocalist Angel Spiccia Music .
