We had a BLAST!!!! So much fun bidding on horses for the Kentucky Derby! Neil Olerud past RFD Board member picked the envelope with the winning horse Golden Tempo and won $185! And Jean Nelson picked Renegade who came in 2nd winning her $50! We had an amazing silent auction with so many items thank you everyone who donated and shopped! The meat raffle was a hit thank you to The Butcher Block of Oakes. The hat bar was so fun thanks to RedneckFancy! And HISTORY was made with Golden Temple being the first Kentucky Derby winner with a female trainer! And Renegade and Golden Tempos jockeys were BROTHERS which is so neat!! Put us on your schedule for May 1st, 2027 Silver Prairie Saloon for another Kentucky Derby Party! Clara Olson won best hat and received a custom Derby earrings set and Jenny Kleingartner won best outfit and won a jewel necklace!
