Overjoyed that we were able to add almost $1500 to today to help Sage & her Mom, Rachel in this next phase of kicking cancers butt!!!
Please donate your returnable at Lisbon Falls Redemption Center by the high school or drop off at Alma-Lea's Dance Studio and day they are for ... that alone brought in close to $700!!! Let’s do it again!!!!

From Rachel:

Hey just wanted to update everyone.... Friday was a very long day, I kissed my daughter and whispered in her ear “let your star power shine baby girl and sparkle like a unicorn” And that she did!! She did amazing and was so strong through surgery and after 12 long hours I was able to be reunited with her in ICU. The look on her face when she saw me was priceless. She had a rough night and day on Saturday in ICU (lots of it she doesn’t remember) but has been making huge strides in her recovery. She was moved Saturday night upstairs to a normal room on the neurology wing. She has been doing way better neurology wise then they even expected. Sunday she started eating a lot more and drinking a little. We took a trip down to the playroom on Sunday morning where she did some crafts with her cousins until she started getting tired, after resting a little in her room we had lunch downstairs in the cafeteria (she went in the wheelchair). After those two big adventures she was pretty wiped out so she spent the rest of the day mostly in bed except to do physical therapy which started later that afternoon. Through Sunday she became more stable and was walking small amounts with some guidance.
Then yesterday morning, She was cleared my neurology. Then she had her second session with physical therapy and they had her do stairs and took her on a little longer walk which she did great but tuckered her out. They said she just needs to build her endurance and energy along with a lot of support going up and downstairs But they said that they were comfortable with us going home and having me supporting her at home. So then we were just waiting to be cleared by medical which by mid day we ended up getting and was able to go home!!! And sage couldn’t have be happier!! She still has a long haul but continues to be making such great strides. Like the doctors said they know kids heal and recover better at home. One step at a time!!!

I’m running the Boston marathon for the third time on April 15. Running Boston is an honor and a privilege. This year, however, the run will take on a special meaning. This year I’m running for Sage and fundraising to support Sage is an amazing girl. Sage is a 9 year old new to my.....

Just one more amazing person in this little girls life!!! Today, Sage & her mom had their first journey to Boston to start the ball rolling ... it will be moving quickly now and all the support we can give will be necessary to help these two stay focused on the most important thing ... SAGE ... and not all the other stresses of life.

Here's the first event to get this ball rolling!! Anyone that would like to donate their returnables, please drop them off at: Lisbon Falls Redemption Center, 617 Lisbon St, Lisbon Falls (353-9406) and mention and they will be added to Sage & Rachel's account. If it's more convenient, you can bring them to dance & leave them at the studio (28 Moody Rd, Lisbon) and we'll take care of it for you.
We've had so many people asking how they can help and everything is coming together, but the first is to have as many people as possible "LIKE" this page to get updates as they are available.

Rachel could use gift cards for gas to help get to all the additional appointments in Portland & Boston before the surgery. She frequents Cumberland Farms & Irving stations, but is thankful for any. We are in the immediate process of finishing the nonprofit bank account for Rachel & Sage and as soon as that is ready, we will post info on how to make contributions securely.
