Here’s a pic of a recent water well Divine Water funded in Zambia. We’re funding 6 more like it before the end of the year. If/when successful, another 6,000 people will have access to clean, safe drinking water - many for the first time in their lives.

On average, it costs $7.50 to provide water for one person- for life.

Our “Day of Giving” is this Saturday, November 15th. A $15 donation would fund clean water for 2 people. 10 people? $150. Maybe we can’t fix it all, but together we can make an incredible change in the lives of some people.

The Divine Water Zambia staff - the guys who work in/with villages - are all graduates of a local preaching school. Why? First, they care about people. Second, they can go one-on-one with individuals or comfortably speak in front of the entire 1,000+ village. And if you want an incredible experience, ask them to sing!

Divine Water’s first “Day of Giving” is coming up on November 15th. $15 provides water for two people for life. If you want to really help someone in need, I can’t think of a better way than to get them clean, safe drinking water.

Clean water alone may not address the main health issues in a village. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig. The real problem is eliminating open defecation.

Our teams teach sanitation - and we require all homes to have latrines before we fund a water well. Sounds easy, but change is never simple, no matter where you live.

The good news? Our guys are incredibly good at helping people understand the importance of sanitation.

Our team in Zambia teach villages about sanitation AND how to build a very low cost kitchen stove with dirt collected from termite mounds. Not only is this approach much safer, but it saves women lots of time everyday.

Divine Water just funded our 3rd Villanova student designed solar well in Uganda, and 2 hand-pumped water wells in Zambia. We plan on funding 6 additional wells in Zambia before the end of the year.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support provided by our donors. This year, we are trying something different - a Day of Giving on November 15th. We provide clean, safe drinking water for about $7.50 per person. Yep, less than $10 - for life.
