HEARTBREAKING TRAGEDY AT McKINNEY WATER PARK‼️

👉McKinney, Texas - A North Texas community is mourning after a child died following a drowning incident at the Apex Centre water park in McKinney on Saturday, May 30.

According to officials:

• The victim was a child

• Emergency responders were called to the scene

• The child later passed away

While city officials have not released the victim's age, reports circulating on social media indicate the child may have been a 9-year-old girl.

Authorities have not disclosed how the incident occurred and say the investigation remains ongoing.

Please keep the child's family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts during this unimaginable loss.

The Carter Lee foundation is so blessed to be working with local amazing companies to help prevent childhood drowning! Here in Texas, water is everywhere, whether it’s pools, lakes or rivers. Water can be fun for the family but we also have to make sure we keep those littles safe!!
We are so excited to announce our friends Southwater Custom Pools is holding an ISR session giveaway contest!! This will cover instructor fees up to $1000 for any Parker County, TX instructor!! As the winner you will still need to secure your session time with any of the fabulous local instructors.
**ISR lessons do not replace the need for other drowning prevention layers of safety: ACTIVE supervision, pool fences, and alarms for doors and windows. **
