🪽 Today, we pause to honor and remember Kolton.

Kolton’s life, though far too short, is forever wrapped in love. The bond shared, the memories held close, and the love that continues to live on speak to a life that will always matter. On this Angelversary, we say Kolton’s name with intention and hold space for a child who is deeply loved and endlessly missed.

To Larz and Mackenzie Goodner: Your child is remembered today and always. Your love, your grief, and your journey are seen, and you are not alone as you carry them.

At Live Like Jake, we will continue to honor children like Kolton by remembering them, speaking their names, and keeping their light alive through love.

Drowning can happen to anyone. Any age. This mother gave her life to save her son from drowning, before drowning herself. 💔💔💔

A Florida mother of six drowned after using every ounce of her strength to hold her 4-year-old son above water in the St. Johns River until rescuers could pull him to safety.

Nicole Grayson, 43, jumped in after the boy fell over a wooden fence at Ed Stone Park near DeLand on Saturday, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.

A passing boater pulled the child aboard unharmed, but Grayson had already gone under. She died at the hospital around 10 p.m. that night.

Her oldest son called her a "hero."

Lessons for your child’s safety are always worth the drive. Always worth the time. Always worth the cost. 💙💚💙 One of our cousins drove 3 boys under 5 to lessons almost an hour each way, while pregnant to get to their instructor. If she can do it, you can too!!

If this swim mom can load up FIVE kids, drive an hour each way, and do it SOLO for 8 weeks… I don't want to hear any complaints about bringing one kid for 6 weeks. 😂💙

Seriously though... parents are amazing, and they'll do just about anything to give their kids lifesaving skills. That kind of commitment deserves a shout-out! 👏
