Boys Camp, Session II:

As we start our last session of camp for the summer, the weather greeted us with 98 degree heat. While we stayed cool swimming in the lake, we're thankful that yesterday was forecast to be the hottest day of the week. We're looking forward to a great session of games, swimming, singing and making new friends.

We're always so excited to share the magic of Ajawah with new campers, and we've got two weeks of fun ahead of us!

Boys Camp, Part I:

I can't believe it’s already time for boys camp 2026! It's going to be a hot one, but we'll be spending plenty of time staying cool in the lake. We're excited to share the magic of Ajawah with campers old and new!

Girls Camp, Session II: Part I

Second Session Begins!

In Main Camp on Sunday, two dads checked their daughters into the same tent they were in together -- 30 years ago.

This is why we do what we do. We work all year to foster old friendships, and to create fertile ground to grow new ones.

Lots of new memories, lessons, friendships, and connections are being formed ... through familiar songs, stories, games, and mosquito netting. The magic lives on.

Camp Ajawah T-Shirt - Remembering Dave Moore

The 2026 Camp Ajawah Staff shirts were made in honor of Dave Moore, using the drawing by Pha Vue that Dave loved and used for the boys' staff shirts for many years.

Following us posting a photo of this staff shirt, many folks reached out asking if / where they could purchase to help support camp. We heard this call and Ajawah staff put together this fundraiser.

Making Camp Ajawah accessible has always been a must for Ajawah, which was cultivated by Dave Moore. Proceeds from this year's shirt will go directly to Camperships to keep camp accessible for more kids for years to come.

Follow the link below to purchase a T-Shirt. This fundraiser will be open for 12 DAYS and then t-shirts will be sent to purchasers.

Girls Session I, Part II: Dancing - Raining - Sun Shining

It is most certainly the Ajawah way. Cooler temps + all-day-drizzly-rain = line-dance party!

Tuesday and Wednesday were cold and rainy, but we have a great group of campers up for anything.

Campers are using their cozy sleeping bags at night, getting that Ajawah kind of deep sleep.

The sun is shining today! We are having an amazing time here.

Camp Ajawah 2026 Is Here!

Day 1 - From Tilly (Girls Camp Director):

"86 campers checked in yesterday for the time of their lives, to be led by a high-quality, energetic staff. We’re all happy to be back in the woods, ready to play, sing, read, breathe, and laugh for two weeks. The gift of this place becomes more valuable and more apparent as time goes on.

At every turn, we are reminded of Dave Moore: the woodpeckers, the loons, in every corner, under every leaf."

Ajawah Work Day - This Saturday - Tent and Dock Day!

We're only a few weeks from campers rolling down the camp path to spend two weeks of bliss at Ajawah.

With our final push in getting camp prepared for campers, we are holding Tent & Dock Day this weekend(!) on Saturday, May 30th starting at 10 AM. Lunch will be provided.

If you would like to take a dip in Linwood Lake or help put up the few remaining tents / assist any of the other various tasks left to get camp ready, please join us and bring work clothes, work gloves, closed-toe shoes, a swimsuit / towel / change of clothes, water, and sunscreen.

We had a great turnout last work day and cannot express enough thanks and how overwhelming it was to see Ajawah folks come together and get so much done around camp. Most of the tents are already up!

Wildflower Walk Whimsy!

A big thank you to all who attended the Wildflower Walk at Camp Ajawah yesterday. We had Westminster members, camp alumni, first time Ajawah visitors, and future campers as part of the crew.

Doug, Bob, and others taught us about glaciers / shaping of land around camp and had us stumbling upon Dutchman's Britches, Trout Lily, Rattlesnake Plantain Orchid, Violets, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Fiddlehead Fern, Columbine, Strawberries, Raspberries, Morel Mushrooms, and much more!

Camp Ajawah Wildflower Walk - Saturday, May 16th: 10 AM - 3 PM

Please join us on May 16th at Camp Ajawah as long time Westminster and Ajawah alumni, Bob Fulton and Doug Van Valkenburg, guide and point out the history, geology, birds, trees, and emerging flowers of Camp Ajawah.

Bring a little lunch for yourself and Ajawah will offer the Mess Hall with beverages and community.
