Thanks everyone for supporting our last steak supper of the year. We are thankful we will be able to help our Linville-Edom families at Christmas time. It was a busy night! Mark your calendars for March 20 and April 17, 2027 for our spring meals.

Zone 3 Ruritans held their convention tonight at Chimney Rock WFV. Fulks Run served a delicious meal including their famous BBQ chicken, we memorialized those Ruritans we lost this year by lighting a candle for each one, District Governor Dennis Donak installed the new officers for next year, and Romney Ritchie provided some great music for us. The night ended with door prizes. Great fellowship and job well done Ruritans!

Don’t forget to order your meal for next Saturday night. Out last one for the year and the proceeds will buy food cards for the students at Linville-Edom Elementary.

The Rockingham Luncheon Ruritan Club extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our longtime member, Wilma Grimm, who passed away on October 2.

Wilma was a valued member of our Ruritan family, and she will be greatly missed. We are thankful for the time we had with her and for the fellowship and service she shared with our club.

Please keep Wilma’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. ❤️

Our last steak supper for the year is coming up!

Ribeye steak supper - Saturday, October 17, 2026, 3:30-5:30.

Drive thru and presale only.
Price: $20.00

Meal includes 8 oz ribeye steak, coleslaw, baked potato, green beans, roll and dessert.

Proceeds are going to Christmas Food Gift Cards for Linville-Edom Elementary students.

It’s amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do for a building. We have more things to work on but we got started and by the time our 90th anniversary in December comes, we will be ready to celebrate.
