🎣🐟 Grab your fishing pole and join the fun! 🐟🎣

Voices For Lake Oahe is hosting its annual Youth Fishing Day on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cattail Bay.

This event is open to children ages 16 and under and is a great opportunity to spend a day outdoors, learn fishing skills and make memories on Lake Oahe.

🎣 Bait provided (bring your own tackle)
🏆 Prizes for all participants
🎁 Grand prize drawing at 2 p.m.
🍔 Refreshments served
🐟 Fish weigh-ins conducted on site

Whether your child is an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, everyone is welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered artwork and helped make this new event a success. From paintings and drawings to photography and mixed media, the entries showcased the creativity, talent and agricultural pride found throughout Emmons County.

The artwork reflected the people, places, animals and traditions that make rural life so special, and we loved seeing agriculture through the eyes of our artists.

🐐 Goat Roping at Emmons County Ag Day 🐐

A big thank you to Jake Bauman and his crew for making this Ag Day favorite possible!

The goat roping gives kids an opportunity to learn and practice roping skills while experiencing a small part of our ranching heritage in a fun and hands-on way.

A special thank you to Richard and Jan Smith for allowing us to use their property for this event. Your support helps make this Ag Day activity possible.
