We received notice today that DPW is resurfacing Benton Avenue. The street is open, but there are some curb-adjacent sections near the LES pickup area that have been excavated and, according to DPW, construction is scheduled until 5:00 pm. Checked with LES an hour ago and there are no changes to the pickup routine. Parents might want to give themselves some extra time, if possible.

Just a couple updates: here is the revised Concerts in the Park flyer. Please note the picnic day change. Also, from the county DPW, Benton Ave will be getting repaved late June or early July. Residents in that immediate area should have received a notice. If you didn't, contact us via website or our Gmail account for a PDF copy.

Happy last day of school for our county students and teachers! 🎉🎉🌴🏖️

Sarah S. at Mosquito Control provided the following information by email at 1:32 PM today: "We are still working on both hiring drivers, and receiving and processing exemptions. Fogging will not occur this week. We will let you know when there is a status update, such as a start date for fogging or if the number of exemptions prevents fogging."

Per Scott Larzelere, Mosquito Control Program Manager, the Mosquito Control Section is still trying to hire drivers, so Linthicum will not be sprayed this week. He did not have an estimate as to when spraying will begin. We will check in regularly for updates.
