I want to take a minute to recognize a young man from Saturday’s Super Bowl game who asked to speak and spoke with great sportsmanship after the game. Coach Derek Simmons had just finished a great speech and prayer and we asked if anybody else had anything. No other coach or adult had anything and then we saw a hand go up and a voice ask if he could say something. That voice was the voice of Clay Central’s #51 Braylin Person who is on the 5-7 yr old team. He spoke up and told the Oxford team they were a great team and the best group of players theyve faced along with some other nice words. This was huge! In a moment where adults were silent, he had the courage to say something instead. He was rewarded with a free ice cream from Jacks and asked if he we could get a picture. We had some friendly cousins join us as well! We should all speak positive unto others just as this young man done!

Today was filled with joy and gratitude! Seeing Cam’s bright smile, reminded us all how powerful prayer and community truly are. Our kids were overjoyed to have him back home— his spirit shines so bright!

When a child is hurting, our hearts ache in a way words can’t describe. Cam is apart of our Family and he needs your prayers!
