CONGRATULATIONS to our Chisago Lakes Rotary Scholarship Winner: Ayla Winter!

Ayla Winter is the recipient of the 2026 Chisago Lakes Rotary Scholarship- which was presented at Chisago Lakes High School on Monday, May 4th. There were 66 students receiving over $300,000 worth of scholarships. Thank you for supporting Chisago Lakes Rotary so we can be a part of this fantastic program! Ayla plans on attending the University of Wisconsin- Madison next year with a Major in Mathematics. Congratulations Ayla!

Chisago Lakes Rotary went for a bike ride today on our section of the Swedish Immigrant Trail starting at Tern Ave. We picked up garbage along the way and inspected our pollinator gardens. A fun social afterward at Oles Crossroads in Shafer- great food and fun friends! Join us next time!!!

Update- we are postponing our trail inspection and social. Please join us NEXT Thursday, April 30th.

Come join us on the Swedish Immigrant Trail- starting at the Tern Ave Trailhead (north of Hwy 8 at the Roundabout at 95) from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, followed by our monthly social at Oles Crossroads in Shafer from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Rotarian Darlene attended the Rotary District 5960 Conference of Clubs today. Margie Horning, Rotary Foundation and Jennifer Mayerle, WCCO investigative reporter presented a session on Human Trafficking. A very informative and eye opening presentation. She also learned about AI and public image. Thank you Darlene for your dedication to learning more about Rotary.

Al Zdrazil from a St. Paul Rotary club presented info to our Club today on Human Trafficking. While not a happy subject it is a Big problem around the world and in our community. We identified ways our club can support stopping trafficking and learned of the good work our schools do as well as our 1st responders.

The Chisago Lakes Good Neighbors Club is proud to participate in the MN FoodShare March Campaign, a statewide effort to support local food shelves.

We’re partnering again with Uncommon Loon Brewing Company where you can drop off food donations throughout the campaign. Stop in for a delicious brew 🍺 and bring along a few pantry items to help neighbors in need.

Fantastic turnout at Taste of Chisago Lakes Tonight!!!

We had over 100 guests come and vote for their favorite food and beverage. There were fourteen local businesses that donated their food and their time to provide over 40 different food and beverage samples.

Thank you to all our participants who provided food free of charge, and donated their time to this great evening!
