Chisago Lakes Rotary had a BLAST serving at the Chisago Lakes Community Meals last night. And thank you Chisago Lakes Ukulele Band for serenading us! We so much appreciate the volunteers at Community Meals who continue to make this a weekly event that feeds, nourishes and cares for our community, not just with food, but also with fellowship and friendship! We encourage everyone to support Community Meals either by volunteering, or by enjoying the evening meal. Donations are always gladly accepted.

We had a great Rotary meeting on Thursday Oct 8 with 16 members in attendance! A special thank you to Katie Malchow for providing county updates and sharing the many ways our county is working to improve the quality of life for all of us.
Members also received updates on several exciting upcoming Rotary activities, including our service project at the Swedish immigrant Trail, volunteering at next Monday's community meal (Oct 12) and preparations for our Fall/Halloween gala on October 29 (at the Uncommon Loon from 5pm to 7pm)
Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to make a difference in our community through service and fellowship. We look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming projects and events.

The CL Rotary Club toured Plastic Products Inc. today in Lindstrom. We learned all about their production, their customers, and the legacy they all carry forward as 100% Employee Owned.
Thanks to Scott for the tour and Judy for lunch
