Most grieving parents don’t talk about this part.
This is 100% true.....

The part where you feel like you’re moving through mud.

You open your phone… and forget why.
You walk into a room… and forget what you needed.
Simple tasks feel impossibly heavy.

People think grief is crying.

But sometimes grief looks like mental fog, exhaustion, and a body that refuses to cooperate.

This is not laziness.
This is not weakness.

When a parent loses a child, the nervous system often shifts into survival mode.

Your brain is trying to protect you from something it cannot fully process.

So it slows things down.
It conserves energy.
It sometimes shuts things off.

Many grieving parents live in what trauma specialists call functional freeze.

You may still go to work.
You may still show up for others.

But inside, everything feels harder than it used to.

If this is you, please hear this:

There is nothing wrong with you.

Your body is responding to something unimaginable.

Sometimes the bravest thing a grieving parent does in a day is simply keep going.

If this resonates with you, you are not alone.

You can leave a heart, a “me too,” or share your child’s name below.
I will say their name with you.

Saving this may also help on the days when you wonder what is wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong.

You are carrying love that has nowhere to go.

An excerpt from I am Still Here, Mom…

“The most unthinkable journey ensued. Completely orchestrated from above and nothing I could have imagined happening. I have asked “Why me?” and have been told that this is part of my life mission, and we are going to help many people who are grieving. Especially those who have lost a child. I can attest after having lost my beloved Dad almost two years after David’s passing, there is nothing that compares to the deep pain of losing a child. The journey we are about to take you on has been led completely by David…”

Michelle takes you on an unthinkable journey after losing her son in a tragic accident, all orchestrated by him. A series of signs and synchronicities started happening that led her on a journey to understand where he went, what death is like and most importantly, that Heaven is real. Michelle takes you through these events, the people David connected her with and the validations that left little doubt this was really happening. She then shares her journal, as is, between David, her spirit guide, and herself as they answer all her questions about Heaven and the afterlife. This book is for anyone grieving, who has experienced loss, or simply those who wonder what Heaven and the afterlife are like. It will leave you with a sense of purpose and peace.
