Founded by a small group of friends, neighbors and colleagues, this organization has grown quickly, developing into a valuable resource for the Chisago Lakes area. On Sunday, we were so happy to return to a local family’s home to take down a ramp we once helped install.

Seeing that it’s no longer needed was a really special moment and a reminder of how far they’ve come. 💛

Even more meaningful, the ramp has already been passed along to someone else who can use it—continuing the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors.

Wishing them all the very best as they keep moving forward!

We had a wonderful time at Scholarship Night at Chisago Lakes High School!

We’re so proud to support students who are passionate about giving back to their community, and we were thrilled to award our Good Neighbors scholarship during the program. 💛

Congratulations to this year’s CLGNC scholarship recipient and all the other students who were awarded during the program—we wish you all the best in your next chapter!

Great day at our Adopt-a-Highway Spring Cleanup! What a beautiful day! 🌿

We covered an impressive 4 miles of highway, helping keep our community clean, and wrapped it up with a fun cookout together.

Our Adopt-a-Senior Committee spent time at their recent meeting getting creative and putting together handmade May Day flower baskets for their adopted seniors. 💐🎨

This thoughtful, crafty project is a fun way to share a little springtime joy and remind our seniors they’re always in our hearts. 💛

Our Good Neighbors Club Scholarship Committee recently had the pleasure of reviewing applications from students at Chisago Lakes High School—and wow, we were blown away! 👏

Our scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to giving back and serving their community, and this year’s applicants truly embodied that mission. It’s incredibly inspiring to see so many young people already making a positive impact through volunteerism.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to support these students and can’t wait to award our scholarship recipient at the Scholarship Awards next month!

Wow, what an incredible finish to our FoodShare March Campaign! 💙

Thanks to this amazing community, we wrapped up the campaign with:

From our last update to the final push, your generosity truly showed up in a big way—and it will make a meaningful difference for local families through the Family Pathways Food Pantry in Chisago City.

🍕 Pizza Man - Lindstrom for helping spread the word with ~850 flyers sent out with pizza orders.

The Chisago Lakes Good Neighbors Club is continuing our Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign through April 6th in partnership with Uncommon Loon Brewing Company.

So far, thanks to this amazing community, we’ve collected 226 pounds of food! 🙌 Let’s keep it going strong for the final stretch.

You can still drop off donations at Uncommon Loon—stop in, enjoy a great drink, and bring along a few items to support local families.

All collected items will be donated to the Family Pathways Food Pantry, helping families right here in our community.

Donation Reminder:
We are collecting non-perishable food items and household essentials only. If you have clothing or used items to donate, please bring those directly to your local Family Pathways location.

The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign officially begins TODAY, and the Chisago Lakes Good Neighbors Club is proud to once again support our local food shelf!

Thank you to the Chisago Lakes community for supporting our 3rd Annual Mitten Tree Drive this December. Through your generosity, we were proud to set a new record with 162 donated items, making this year’s drive our most successful yet.

78% of the mittens collected were waterproof, directly answering the need for weather-resistant gear and helping ensure kids and families stay dry and warm during Minnesota winters.

This year’s donations included:
• 81 hats
• 68 mittens
• 10 scarves
• 3 pairs of wool socks

We were also touched by the number of hand-knit hats donated which added a personal and heartfelt element that truly embodies the spirit of community giving.

All Items that were donated will be split between 4 amazing programs: New Pathways Path to Home, Family Pathways Food Shelf & Domestic Services, Chisago Lakes Primary School & Lakeside Elementary School.

This event would not be possible without our annual partnership with The Uncommon Loon Brewing Company, who once again provided a welcoming space for our Mitten Tree!

Your kindness, generosity, and community spirit continue to make this annual tradition a success. Thank you for helping us spread warmth and care throughout Chisago Lakes. 💙
