Lindsborg Ad Hoc Roundtable

We create space for anyone who wants to know more about Lindsborg and the Smoky Valley. We work together, encourage each other and keep it positive.

The Lindsborg Ad Hoc Roundtable formed in August 2012 to add avenues for business discussion and provide an informal space for consensus and action. Now the Roundtable is a space for connecting the dots generally in Lindsborg and the Smoky Valley. We have no board of directors or officers. Our goal is to provide a crossroads for anyone who wishes to help nurture our community. The Roundtable meet

s every Monday from 8 to 9 am in the Lindsborg City Council Room. The gatherings are open to anyone, and we love seeing new faces! We also send out e-mails with notes from the meeting as well as event reminders. We are happy to add new names to the email list so feel free to sign up.

Here's a FANTASTIC idea from last year's Chalk the Välk event! Lindsborg Community Library took advanted of the registration cost to promote the library to everyone who walked Välkommen Trail the day of the event AND for many days following.

I am requesting more business hours information.

1. Some of you have already sent me your Christmas holiday hours (special hours December 24-January 1). Thank you! If you have not sent that information to me, please do!

2. Some of you have let me know of ADDITIONAL open hours. For example, two businesses, not normally open on Saturdays, have let me know they will be open on Saturdays (and have given me their hours). If you have special ADDITIONAL hours (evenings, Sundays, etc.), please let me know.

I will do my best to include everyone in two separate posts for these two items. If I forget someone, or something changes in your schedule, please let me know. It is easy for me to edit the Facebook and Instagram posts.

Letting as many know as possible. Businesses may see an uptick in the need for visitors to use your restrooms if available. Otherwise, both parks still have restrooms open. Hopefully the renovation will go smoothly and not hit snags. :)
