Central Valley Rescue Railroad CVRR is an all Volunteer rescue located in the CA Central Valley. We are motivated by compassion, powered by volunteers and funded by donations.

We rescue dogs and an occasional cat. Once in our program every animal is guaranteed a loving home.

Meet Bert, he's so smart is he named after Einstein! This precious little guy is already a certified heart stealer. Soft, sweet, and full of that irresistible charm, Bert is ready to wiggle his way into someone’s life and never let go. ❤ He is currently in a foster home where he's learning many things including house training, crate trained, fetch, sit, down, stay and come. He will put his head through the leash when you get it out and likes to ride in cars. He is great with cats and dogs and loves to gather his toys onto his bed. 🐾🐕

Duncan is a handsome, sweet, gentle soul who has kept his loving spirit shining despite arriving with a few bumps and bruises. ❤ Whatever he went through, it hasn’t dimmed his kindness one bit. He gets along with other dogs, leans in for affection, and absolutely adores people. Duncan walks well on a leash and is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel lucky just to know him. 🐾🏡

Jedi was living in rural Lindsay in an unfenced property. He received a bad injury to his leg. We were able to get it medically amputated and pain free. He's super friendly, seems fine with cats and great with people and dogs. He is just over one year old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and a super happy pup.

When the Second Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia in 1775, it was far from clear that the delegates would pass a resolution to separate from Great Britain. To persuade them, someone needed to articulate why the Americans were breaking away. On June 11, 1776, Congress formed a committee to do just that; members included John Adams from Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin from Pennsylvania, Roger Sherman from Connecticut, Robert R. Livingston from New York, and Thomas Jefferson from Virginia, who at age 33 was one of the youngest delegates. 🚂 cvrr.us
