EV West, in collaboration with the Electric Vehicle Learning Center (EVLC), is offering a revised Three-Day EV Conversion Workshop focused entirely on Tesla drivetrain conversions. This hands-on class is built for builders and enthusiasts who want real, working knowledge—not theory. Held March 19–21 at EV West and EVLC, the course runs 9 AM–5 PM and is led by Michael Bream and Mark Weller of EV West. Instruction centers on modern Tesla systems, professional conversion practices, and high-voltage safety using real components and proven shop workflows.
Students will assemble a running Tesla system from the ground up, working directly with drive units, inverters, CAN communication, charging hardware, and both high- and low-voltage wiring. The course is built around the EV West Trainer Cart, allowing every system to remain visible, accessible, and testable. Participants actively build and commission the system, gaining skills that translate directly to real-world Tesla conversions. The three day session cost $1500.🔋⚡️🛠️🚗
