Linden Citizens' Association The Linden Citizen's Association is a community group concerned with issues in Linden, NJ.

The Linden Citizen's Association was formed in 1990 by former Mayor Paul Werkmeister. The political organization keeps the community informed via monthly meetings, held at the VFW on Pennsylvania Road. The purpose of the association is to vet political candidates and to support those candidates through out their political career. We keep residents informed of what is happening in Linden.

We understand that a candidate has announced for the 2022 Mayoral Election for Linden as a Republican. The Linden Citizen Association has a long standing tradition of supporting Democratic, Independent and Republican candidates for local and higher office. However, given this candidates anti equality rhetoric in regards to our LGBT community, as well as other issues that have come to light, we the Linden Citizen’s Association want to ensure the public that we have no and will continue to have no association with this “candidate”.

"Testing is available to all Union County residents who wish to be tested, whether or not they are experiencing symptoms. It is free of charge, regardless of whether you have insurance or not. It is also available to all first responders and frontline health workers who are asymptomatic and that work in Union County, regardless of their residence. Testing is also available to first responders and frontline health workers who live and work outside the County, but reside in New Jersey."
