Join us to celebrate local author Brian McDonough and his book God's Wake Up List: If You're Still Here, There's Work To Do. His book is a memoir about faith, family, recovery, endurance, purpose, second chances, and the people who carry us through life's hardest seasons.

Signed copies will be available for purchase on November 12th here at the library for $15. His book is also available for purchase through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
If you already have a copy, bring it along, and Brian will be happy to sign it.

We have a new helper at the library... our Library Goose! Can you please help us name our goose? Visit us at the library from October 12th - October 24th, and check out a book, movie, STEM Kit, State Park Backpack, an item from our Library of Things... (you get the idea! Any checkout works!) and cast your vote for your favorite name. Simply write the number that corresponds with your favorite name on your ticket and place it in our ballot jar to vote. We're so excited to see what name is the most popular!

Now You Know Your ABC’s…(Or do you..?) by Caspar Salmon was a great read-aloud for our Story & Craft program yesterday! Our friends had fun decorating their choice of letter and we had a few friends that braved the wolf origami craft and nailed it! We love seeing each individual’s creativity!

It’s a BEAUTIFUL fall weekend… the perfect time to check out Oak Hill Tree Farm! While you’re there, take a few minutes to stroll through the trees to read “The Pie That Molly Grew” by Sue Heavenrich. It’s this year’s book walk offering, and we hope it’s enjoyed by many families this fall.

We had the pleasure of hosting Pleasant Hill’s kindergarten classes for a field trip this week! The kids toured the library, enjoyed the playroom, and got a small sampling of our “Science with Mrs.Brunton” and “Story & Craft” programs. They were delightful; thank you Mrs. Chastain and Mrs. Showers for bringing your classes to visit!
