It is official I am headed to college. I will get to continue to play softball and study sports management. I hope to continue my project down with me to Taft to help more girls fulfill their dreams. Don’t worry Second Hand Glove will also still be in Linden also. Thank you so much to everyone who has watched me grow and has helped my journey.

Hello, my name is Kailynn Johnson. I have been playing softball for eight years. I attend Linden High-school and this year is my junior year. I am beginning a non-profit organization called “Second Hand Glove”. With “Second Hand Glove” I will collect used gear from anyone who grew out of it or don’t want it anymore. The gear that I get I will give back to girls in need of the gear to give them the opportunity like I have to fall in love with the sport. Softball is more than a sport. It is family, a community, a get away and a source of excitement. If anyone has any gear they would like to donate, please contact me. Thank you
