It definitely isn’t perfect, but I wanted share because learning doesn’t have to be perfect to be worthwhile!

A few weeks ago I took a tapestry weaving class at and when I brought my project home, several of my kids begged to learn and finish it. So, this weaving became a group effort and we had so much fun experimenting together.

Also, a huge thank you to for inspiring me with your beautiful art to learn more about tapestry weaving for myself. I am so grateful for my creative community near and far. ❤️

A friend called me and said she found a really old spinning wheel at a garage sale. They were asking $15 and said they had used it for historical re-enactments. It’s a bit rough, but what a cool find! We are going to see if we can get it into working order…

After this project, I will say I do not recommend black on black for beginner attempts with .patch. 🥴😆 But my daughter’s leggings are back in action. This is such a fun tool that I cannot wait to share in our future visible mending classes!
