It's getting close Brothers...The 3rd Annual Lindale Lodge Clay Shoot is right around the corner.

This year, it will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Registration begins at 7:45am. Teams shoot at 8:30am.

It will be held at 5H Shooting Sports, 19105 CR 4235, Frankston, TX.

We are asking for sponsors, door prizes and setting up of posters as well as teams. The last day to turn in new sign requests will be Thursday, April 16th. The $$ must also accompany the request.

Attached with this email is a copy of the 2026 Sponsor Form. Feel free to get as many sponsors as you can and turn them into Mike Murphy at [email protected]

Lindale Masons Award Two Scholarships

The Freemasons with Lindale Lodge #848, Lindale, Texas recently awarded scholarships to two deserving recipients at Lindale High School.

Receiving a $1,000.00 scholarship from the Norman Quaas Memorial Scholarship Fund was Reeci Morgan a senior at Lindale HS. Reeci plans to attend Texas A&M University in the Fall majoring in Business. Also receiving a $1,000.00 scholarship was Robert Johnson also a senior who plans to attend Tyler Junior College in the Fall majoring in Nursing.

These scholarships were made possible by the efforts of Lindale Masonic Lodge #848 from a raffle conducted two years ago. Lindale Lodge #848 plans to have annual scholarships available for the next three years for students at Lindale HS. The scholarships are made possible by the members of Lindale Lodge, the Norman Quaas Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Texas Masonic Charity Foundation. The scholarship committee at Lindale Lodge #848 has named the Scholarships after Norman J. Quaas who was a respected past member of the Lodge.

Good afternoon Brethren,
Just a quick note that Lindale Lodge will start having its Monday Night Work night tonight beginning at 6:00pm. Tonight will be our first night back after being dark for several weeks to allow voting at our building.

Also, we will be holding an EA meeting tonight to allow one of our brothers an opportunity to turn in his work. Please plan to attend.

It is with great sadness that we report that the grandson of Larry Tarkleson, a brother at Lindale Lodge was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away.

Thomas Fuller, who died in a car crash Wednesday afternoon in Smith County was identified as a senior at Arp High School, the district said. Fuller was a member of the football team, powerlifting team and ran track during his junior year, according to Arp ISD.

Please keep Larry and his family in your prayers.
