Yesterday marked 10 years since our lives changed forever🎗️🧡
Our healthy, athletic, happy and kind then 10 year old son was diagnosed with Leukemia, the good kind?
“Team Jack” began and there are so many amazing beautiful things that have come from our team that it will touch our hearts forever. Sadly, so much sadness and suffering has also come...it will take us the rest of our lives to sort it out. There will always be an empty chair at our table.
We are grateful for every second spent as Jack’s parents and would do it all over, again and again, just to spend just a moment with the young man who made our family whole.
We will forever miss his laugh, bright smile, silly antics, quick wit, and his eagerness to participate in everything life had to offer.
We will continue to include Jack in our daily lives as we feel his presence and are lucky to receive dimes, feathers, butterflies, wicked storms and more — always with impeccable timing.
We love to hear stories we’ve never heard...we love the old ones too. He taught us so much about living, being determined, embracing hope and being fair and kind. Thank you, Jack, for being our miracle.
