Lucy and BeBe’s family are out looking them, let us know if you spot them!

These 2 pups are trying to hitch a ride on Thomson Hwy, near St Paul’s church. Please share them to find the owner. Or if you can help by fostering them until we do, you’d be doing God’s work.

The reality is, when the economy falters animals suffer. They are a luxury. But unlike just cutting out your Starbucks or not getting your hair done…if you have them they still need to be fed. So, people put them out or simply don’t keep them home. It’s getting harder and harder for people to fed and properly vet their animals.

And to make this even more tragic, we depend on donations…so when people are struggling, we struggle 10 times more. One huge blessing is that our food is very generously donated. But, we can feed them, others like this if we need to.

Which means things like us spay/neutering or us being able to cover emergency vet costs for the community isn’t possible anymore. And that kills me.

I can only take in animals that a human is willing to help us to take care of. And then only if the dogs/cats are human friendly.

So, if you ever considered fostering, for us or anyone else now is the time. Everyone in rescue is drowning in animals. Imagine if it was you that had to see animals suffering and had still had to be the one to say “no”.

Daisy made it home!

Please be on the lookout for this sweet girl! Her name is Daisy and she was last seen on the Washington Hwy, close to Lincolnton. Her brother Tucker already made it back home.
Please share her to help get her home. Her Mama is worried.
