Eventide Hospice is looking for volunteers to offer emotional, physical and spiritual support for hospice clients and families.

Visits focus on quality of life for clients and can consist of, but not limited to:
•Musical performances
•Pet visits
•Bereavement support
•Veteran recognition pinnings
•Veteran-to-veteran support

📍Areas of need: David City, Grand Island, Crete/Seward and Geneva

Centrally located in Lincoln, just south of 48th & O, Sage opened in 2024 and is now home to more than 90 residents! The building itself features tall ceilings, large living spaces, modern finishes, a clean environment and a bright hair studio for a dynamic cosmetologist!

The Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard joined us last week to honor Eventide resident Judy, whose story through her nursing journey is nothing short of inspiring. ✨

After years at Lincoln General Hospital (now Bryan West), Judy decided she wanted to become a nurse herself! So she went back to school and earned her nursing degree at 55 years old! Judy went on serve for 20 years!

In a very touching ceremony, family and Eventide staff gathered as the Honor Guard paid tribute to and celebrated Judy's incredible commitment to care. 💙
