Reminiscing on our Lincoln 5K race! ☀️💛🏃‍♀️

Perfect weather, big smiles, and the BEST energy all around. Our girls showed up ready to shine and absolutely crushed it from start to finish. So much confidence, joy, and determination in every step! We couldn’t be more proud!! ✨🏃🏼‍♀️🩷

So grateful for all the amazing partners who made the day even sweeter (literally)!! Shoutout to Raising Cane’s, Kona Ice, DonutNV, Kouzina, and Tom’s Traveling Coffee Truck for keeping everyone fueled and celebrating all morning long! 🩷💚

☘️☘️The luck of the Irish was with GOTR-Nebraska on Sunday during the GOTR 5K in O’Neill. Girls and families from West Holt, Boyd County, Chambers, O’Neill, Ord and Plainview put their best foot forward while dodging the worst of the rain on the route.☘️☘️

Immensely proud of all the happy, confident girls who showed up to showcase their hard work and gutted it out on a cold and rainy day.🌧️☔️🏃🏼‍♀️

VERY grateful for all the amazing folks who make it happen! Shout-out to Team Schluns and Team Hoffman for their dedication to make the event so special for hundreds of girls each year. Their professionalism and cheerfulness are contagious and bring out the best in everyone, even when Mother Nature throws a curveball. Simply the best!

Kudos to our “Host with Most” Scott at KBRX who keeps the event on schedule as emcee and provides the musical motivation we all need. The volunteer crew was outstanding as they were out standing in the rain (see what we did there?) and won fans across the city. Thanks also to the City of O’Neill Police Department for ensuring a safe run on the roads, to Jason at Alder Plumbing for providing the portapotties, and to Terry Miles for providing standby EMS services. O’Neill — y’all are the best! THANK YOU for hosting again! A lot of girls and their families went home that day with HUGE smiles on their faces and that’s due to your Irish hospitality!🩷💚🏃🏼‍♀️☘️✨

It was an absolutely FABULOUS day to be a Girl on the Run in Nebraska! GOTR girls from southeast/south-central Nebraska put their best foot forward at the GOTR 5K in Lincoln. Good Friday morning come AT YOU, courtesy of Girls on the Run at Picotte Elementary in Omaha! These runners completed their Practice 5K on Tuesday. Coaches report all the girls were very supportive of each other as they finished the 3.1 miles. For each of the 10 laps, the girls got to choose whether they wanted one fingernail painted or whether they wanted one character of a secret phrase revealed -- the phrase was "Bold & Brave." Bravo, Picotte!😍😀🥰
