Brooke and Fallyn headed over to the shop for ‘Breaks and Brew’ where they served donuts🍩 and coffee☕️ to TMCO employees! This was a fun way for The Prep Academy Staff to get to know the employees in our manufacturing shop and learn more about ways that The Prep Academy can support all of our TMCO families.

Last Thursday we celebrated our first annual "Love on the Run event"! 💌 We had so much fun visiting everyone over at the shop and seeing some familiar faces! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped hand out goodies to the kiddos, we appreciate you all!

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday at Bennett Martin Library for our first family night! 📚The folks from Lincoln City Libraries were amazing and everyone had a great time playing games, checking out books, and doing crafts. Can't wait for our next family event!💙

We’re excited to see positive movement happening in our city to reduce barriers for new childcare centers to open. Access to quality early learning matters for children, families, and our workforce.

TMCO and The Prep Academy are glad to be part of this conversation and journey, sharing what we’ve learned along the way as we build an on-site childcare program for our employees’ families. Our hope is that the path becomes easier for the centers that come next because when more childcare options open, our whole community benefits.

The Lincoln City Council discussed new zoning laws on Monday. If passed, the laws would make it easier to apply for and open up early childhood care facilities in the capital city.

Today marks the first official day of The Prep Academy! This is a place where learning, play, and family connection grow and families PREPare for the next step. Our team is ready, our classrooms are filled with joy, and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome the first class of TMCO students and families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible - from construction crews to training partners, and especially the TMCO family who believed in this vision.

From shopping carts full of supplies to colorful classrooms ready for play, we are ready in every corner of Prep Academy. We have designed our spaces with safety, curiosity, and joy in mind! Thanks to Madonna Rehab Child Development Center for the furniture donation and to our very own shipping department for help with the move!

Our team has spent weeks preparing every corner of this space. From deep cleaning and repairs, to moving in furniture, playground design, family-style eating spaces, and playful learning zones. We have thoughtfully redesigned these buildings with children and families in mind and can’t wait to open our doors to our new learners tomorrow!

Over the last 6 months, these buildings have gone through a huge transformation. Thanks to our friends Ayars & Ayars - what once were three portable classrooms at Lincoln Public Schools are now officially home to The Prep Academy. This is a place built to support TMCO families with high-quality care, joyful learning, and community. We can’t wait to fill them with play and joy and share them with our community!
