πŸŽ‰ Happy 2-Year Anniversary, Libby! πŸŽ‰

In just two years, Libby has made an incredible impact at BraveBe Child Advocacy Center and Brave fACEs!

From leading our very first Building Resilient Families parenting group to helping grow our ACEs education and training efforts, Libby has approached every opportunity with knowledge, enthusiasm, and a willingness to adapt and learn along the way. She has dedicated countless hours to creating meaningful experiences for families and helping more people in our community understand trauma, resilience, and the power of connection.

Today, as our ACEs Training Specialist, Libby continues to expand that impact through engaging trainings, supporting and training new team members, and always looking for ways to strengthen the work we do.

Beyond all she accomplishes, Libby brings thoughtfulness, humor, positivity, and a true team spirit to everything she does. Her passion for this work is evident, and we are so grateful for the energy and heart she brings to both BraveBe and Brave fACEs.

Happy 2-Year Anniversary, Libby! Thank you for helping us build stronger, more resilient families and communities. πŸ’›

What a great couple of days of learning, connection, and advocacy! πŸ’š

Brave fACEs and BraveBe Child Advocacy Center were proud to be part of the 2026 Nebraska CASA State Conference: The Power of One Voice right here in Lincoln!

Our team had the opportunity to share several trainings with CASA staff and volunteers from across Nebraska:

πŸ’š Libby Valerio-Boster, ACEs Training Specialist, presented an overview of Trauma 101.

πŸ’¬ Aubrey Yost, Training & Outreach Coordinator, presented an overview of Minimal Facts Interviewing.

We are always grateful for opportunities to share knowledge, learn alongside other professionals, and connect with people who are doing incredible work for children and families across our state.

Thank you to Nebraska CASA for inviting us to be part of this year's conference and for bringing together so many voices committed to making a difference for children! πŸ’š

Your experiences are part of your story, but they don't have to define your future. πŸ’š

Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, can have a lasting impact on our health, relationships, behaviors, and well being. Understanding our own experiences can be an important first step in recognizing how the past may still show up in our lives today.

The Brave fACEs Assessment is a quick, confidential way to learn your ACE score and, more importantly, connect with information and resources about resilience, healing, and the protective experiences that can help buffer the effects of adversity.

Your score is not a diagnosis. It's not a label. It's simply one piece of your story.

What happens when great branding meets an even greater mission?

This week, BraveBe's Abby Worster joined Lyn Wineman, President & Chief Strategist of KidGlov, at the Bridge Conference to present "Message That Moves: Elevate Your Nonprofit Brand for Greater Impact."

Together, we shared the story of BraveBe's rebrand, led by our longtime partners at KidGlov, and how a strong brand can do so much more than create a new logo. It can inspire action, build trust, and help a mission reach more people.

We also highlighted the success of Brave Faces Lincoln, whose branding and messaging have helped more than 55,000 people better understand trauma, resilience, and the importance of breaking the cycle of abuse.

It was an honor to share our journey with so many passionate professionals and an even greater privilege to deepen our partnership with KidGlov. Nearly four years later, we still love the BraveBe brand and remain grateful for the thoughtful work and collaboration that helped bring it to life.

Thank you, Lyn, and the entire KidGlov team, for being such incredible partners in our mission. πŸ’›
