Nebraska State Home Builders Association NSHBA works to address issues critical to the survival & success of the home building industry. NSHBA serves members in four key ways:
1. Member Services

The Nebraska State Home Builders Association (NSHBA) is a non-profit trade association comprised of four local associations across the state of Nebraska. NSHBA actively works to address issues that are critical to the survival and success of the home building industry. NSHBA is also focusing on housing affordability and workforce development issues. In cooperation with the National Association of

Home Builders (NAHB), we advocate for residential homeowners, renters, and professional builder members at the state and national levels. Efforts include lobbying for reasonable, economical laws, regulations, codes, and standards to ensure the sufficient availability of reasonably priced, quality new homes and residential housing to meet the demand of the local market, now and in the future. As well as training, education, and professional development to members, industry professionals, and the public at large on important issues. Including but not limited to legislation, safety, codes, regulations, standards, new building products, techniques, professional skills, industry and economic trends. Advocacy Government Affairs

The Nebraska State Home Builders Association (NSHBA) was pleased to present a BUILD-PAC check to Congressman Mike Flood Saturday evening in Norfolk during the Congressman’s Back to School Bash.

The event was a great opportunity to celebrate Congressman Flood and the recent passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, while also thanking him for his continued work on issues important to Nebraska and the home building industry.

NSHBA appreciates Congressman Flood’s leadership and his willingness to listen to and advocate for Nebraska’s home builders, developers and housing industry.

A little late in sharing, but here are some photos from the Nebraska State Home Builders Association Golf Outing! ⛳️

Despite a rain delay midway through the tournament, everyone had a fantastic time, and the event was a great success!

A heartfelt thank you to Indianhead Golf Club for being such outstanding hosts and helping make our annual fundraiser a memorable event. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all of the teams who participated, our generous sponsors, and everyone who helped support the outing. Your continued support makes events like this possible and helps strengthen the work of the Nebraska State Home Builders Association.

Today and tomorrow, we celebrate the freedoms that define our nation and the communities that make Nebraska such a wonderful place to call home.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, we pause to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who secured our nation's freedom and the servicemen and women who continue to protect it. Their dedication inspires us, and we are profoundly grateful for their service.

Across Nebraska, home builders, remodelers, developers, suppliers, and industry professionals work every day to create the homes and neighborhoods where families build their lives, celebrate milestones, and make lasting memories. We are proud to represent an industry that helps strengthen communities and supports the dream of homeownership throughout our great state.
