Nebraska Family Alliance is policy, research, and educational non-profit organization governed by a joint board of directors. As technology advances, we will continue to advocate for policies that protect children online.

Here are two bills that didn't pass last session that we hope will be brought back next year:

LB 939 - Protects children from harmful content and ideologies by requiring large AI companies to publish and follow child protection plans, safeguards employees who report risks and dangers to children, and allows the Attorney General to bring civil penalties against developers who violate the act.

IT'S OFFICIAL - June is Marriage & Family Month in Nebraska!

NFA was honored to join Governor Jim Pillen for a proclamation signing recognizing the importance of the nuclear family and formally designating June as Marriage and Family Month, the first of its kind in our state's history!

God's design for the family has been the foundation of every society since the creation of the world, and while other states choose to celebrate “pride,” Nebraska is standing for truth.

Them Before Us, a national children's advocacy organization, released a first-of-its-kind “Children's Rights Scorecard” evaluating how well states protect the rights and well-being of children in key areas like marriage, parentage, and surrogacy. Nebraska received the highest score in the nation and was the only state to earn an "A" grade.

This achievement reflects years of hard work by countless Nebraskans who have stood for policies that put children first.

Following the release of the scorecard, Nate had the opportunity to share about our work, how to push back against harmful policies, and the importance of defending the most vulnerable in our society.
